An actor, singer/songwriter, model, and six-time Emmy-winning host of RuPaul’s Drag Race, RuPaul is a multitalented cultural force and “easily the world’s most famous drag queen,” according to Fortune magazine. He burst onto the national scene with his hit single “Supermodel (You Better Work)” in 1993, and he went on to become the first drag queen featured in a major makeup campaign.
