Learn Fire Fighting System Design & Modeling in Revit with Real Project Applications
What you’ll learn
Students will learn how to create complete fire protection system layouts (sprinkler, standpipe, hydrant, and pump room systems) within Revit from scratch.
Learners will gain the ability to perform hydraulic calculations, size pipes, and verify pressure requirements for fire protection systems as per NFPA standards
Students will be able to generate coordinated drawings, legends, schedules, and detailed sheets for real-world project submissions.
Learners will understand how to apply NFPA, NBC, and local fire codes while designing and modeling in Revit to ensure compliance and safety.
Students will learn how to integrate fire fighting systems with other MEP services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) in a BIM-coordinated project environment.
