Kola and Gumboot are two friends who met each other on the unwanted toy pile. In this first book, Kola has organized a surprise picnic for Gumboot, but first they must find their way to the picnic table and get ready for loads of great surprises. A feel-good story for younger readers, with pictures to match each rhymed paragraph. Great bed-time reading with a very happy ending.
