Trama:
Quattro poliziotti, che eroicamente provvedono alla sicurezza e al mantenimento dell’ordine per le strade americane, non riescono a gestire i loro rapporti familiari, non dimostrando abbastanza affetto ai figli con cui spesso nascono incomprensioni. Quando, però, una tragedia causa la morte di questi ultimi, i quattro rivedono improvvisamente ogni aspetto della loro esistenza, ritrovando la devozione nei confronti della famiglia e la fede in Dio, grazie all’aiuto di un mentore che insegna loro che non sempre le intenzioni di Dio sono in sintonia con le ambizioni degli uomini.
