Trama:
Dopo la morte della madre che recitava in un film horror, il tredicenne Geoff Matthews si trasferisce con suo padre da Los Angeles nella cittadina di Ludlowe. Qui il ragazzino ha problemi col prepotente Clyde, mentre invece fa amicizia con la coetanea Drew, che detesta il proprio patrigno, Gus. E Gus, un giorno, uccide il cagnolino di Drew. l’inizio di una serie infinita di accadimenti da incubo. La storia di un padre e un figlio che scopriranno di possedere poteri incredibili, ma la di fuori del loro controllo.
