Trama:
La vicenda si svolge a New York e racconta le vicissitudini di un gruppo di uomini goffi e insicuri che tentano di porre rimedio ai loro problemi amorosi rivolgendosi a un consulente molto particolare: Alex Hitchens (Will Smith). I suoi clienti, sono uomini perdutamente innamorati di donne impossibili, che grazie al cosiddetto “Dottor Rimorchio”, riescono a conquistare i loro oggetti del desiderio con una serie di piccoli accorgimenti a cui nessuno pensa mai. Nonostante il suo lavoro sia quello di formare coppie felici, Hitch non crede assolutamente nell’amore.
