Description: Sentimental, inexperienced doctor Pietro Vignali is heavily in debt to his friend Loretta Prima. After his creditors threaten to sell all his property, Pietro gets a job at an orphanage. This leads him to become engaged to mattress magnate heiress Lilly Passalacqua. True, one of the orphans, Teresa, nicknamed Friday, becomes very attached to the shelter doctor.
